WAY TOO BUSY, but CHECK OUT MY TEETH

Well, I guess I would have to say I am a horrible blogger, because it is hard for me to keep this up. I don't know how some of you do it. After working all day, coaching 5th grade volleyball, cooking dinner, caring for Corbin, and grading papers I never seem to find the time to sit down and actually get anything done on this blog. Which is sad because I think it is a fun way for people to see how are little man is doing.

Corbin is doing great! He has made some great leaps over the last month or so. He can now sit all by himself with the occasional teeter to the floor. He loves to look at himself in the mirror (I think Uncle Darren has rubbed off on him a little too much!) He also loves bath time and playing. He is eating many solid foods and is loving everything. There really hasn't been much that he didn't enjoy. I would say that I would recommend NEVER feeding a baby prunes (We had a horrible diaper experience with that!) Therefore, all you new moms that think that you need to try all the different types of baby food, Brent and I would both tell you to skip that one! NOT NECESSARY!

Corbin is also attempting to crawl. He thinks it would be a lot of fun, but really hasn't figured out how to get his arms and legs moving yet. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth wanting to go somewhere, but just can't seem to make it anywhere.

Well, Corbin is growing up way too fast, but we are enjoying every last minute. He does have 2 teeth now, bottom front. We think he is trying to cut some others because his new favorite toy is his bib. He loves to chew on it, I guess it feels good on the teeth.

We also survived our very first sickness a few weeks ago. He had a temperature of 102 degrees and we called the doctor and she told me not to worry, but that is definitely easier said than done when you know you little guy doesn't feel well. Therefore, eventually she had us come in and we found out he had a start of a double ear infection and a viral infection. We were given antibiotics and now we are healthy again. The funny thing was, was right after he got to feeling better his 2 teeth popped in. So what they say about kids getting sick before teeth, really is true!
